EXPOSURE

1988-1999:
At least 10 years in government service (Department of Environment and Natural Resources or DENR): rose from a rank and file position (Casual Forester), to national program management (community-based forest management program manager), to executive staff work (executive assistant to the Department Secretary), to a management position (Assistant Director for Special Concerns): Dealt with internal and external organizational relationships to meet objectives of particular assignments.

1999-2002:
2 years in private research organization (Environmental Science for Social Change, Inc. or ESSC): led community-based research and dialogue sessions: Able to orchestrate coordination and cooperation levels of national and local claim holders in terms of natural resource management.

1993- to date:
Advocacy and training for gender and development, and environment and natural resources management:  Leads and cooperates efforts on gender and development, and environment and natural resources management.

2001-to date:
Conduct of management-related training, orientation/workshops: Integrates management and advocacy principles in promoting good governance.
