I am a forester by profession, but I consider myself more of a manager and an integrator. I have been in the environment and natural resources field for almost 20 years, with particular focus on community forestry systems.
I worked with Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) for 10 years. After having served as Assistant Director of Special Concerns of said Department, I joined the Environmental Science for Social Change (ESSC) in November 1999 to continue working with community forestry systems nationwide. After ESSC, I started my career as a Technical Assistance Provider.
Recognizing that learning is a continuing process I enhance my knowledge and skills by taking academic courses, participating in various training and seminars, joining discussion groups, and sharing with individuals from all walks of life.
